Greetings everyone! I just thought it would be very fun to create a quick post about myself, so here we go! My name is Jillian, but on stardoll my username is kellyhi! I have been a part of stardoll since the sun-shining summer of 2006! I am a 16 year old girl from the Glamorous United States of America. Since this is my first time writing for a blog, I am absolutely honored to have been selected to become a part of this lovely blog, "The Stardoll Peace Project." The whole theme here brings me such joy to know that I can be a part of! So thank you very much Audrey for selecting me! I hope that you all out there will comment on my posts with some friendly and helpful reviews so that I can make them better! Hello y'all!

No, I'm not from Georgia or anything. I just thought that would catch your attention. :]

I'm SO VERY HAPPY to be part of The Stardoll Peace Project.

It is Such an honor.

To tell the truth, when i got the GB message that i was to become a writer, i pretty much did a happy dance.

Okay, enough about that. Lets start my Intro Post! :D

i've been on stardoll since December, and i have to say, 

It's my relaxation site.

Like no joke, I come back from a busy day of tenth grade, finish my homework, and Go on this site.

Okay, now lets get serious.

I'm a serious believer that someone can gain Fame without paying a penny on a virtual website. Yes, I know Superstars and Royalty get voted a lot more than superstars, and its because they paid. But I, on the other hand could easily pay. But i prefer not to. I want to represent the group of Non Superstars who trully Cannot pay. But even though they lack this obvious thing, They still TRY to do their best.

I love exploring stardoll and discovering creative Non Superstars and Superstars everywhere.

Modeling Opportunity(:

Recently a new Magazine has been launched under the name "Be Magazine". The magazine appears to want to focus on people behaving like themselves and being themselves which I think is a great core principal for any blog or idea to follow. I personally believe that this magazine will have a fantastic idea to revolve around and they are actively seeking both team members and models.

Official writers & guest writers!

This was probably the hardest decision i've had to make in ages but finally I have picked the writers. I want everyone to know that I read applications, read blog posts and asked for maybe the opinion of ten other people before making my decision.. to be completely honest I read applications a good seven times and read blog posts even more than that. The official writers for this blog are: Kaami1990, mannyperry, TwilightRosez, iswim19, ariannacarle, kellyhi (she applied through dollmail), momijigal911 and sarabear123. Congrats to all of you!

I want to say that this was a tough decision so for all of you that didn't make it don't fret! I have decided I'm going to call everyone that applied in as a guest writer from time to time because I think everyone deserves a chance.

Do you guys think I made the right decisions?

Anti Bullying Petition.

I checked some gossip blogs today and i'm absolutely disgusted with what I see... If a gossip blog is meant to be a gossip blog it should not become a virtual hell for someone whether they deserve it or not, it's cruel. Everyone hates when they get their feelings hurt by someone online so why should we do it if we see what effect it has on us as people? It's not ok. Please do not misunderstand me here, I enjoy reading gossip as much as the next person but people have been taking it too far lately so this all has inspired me to start an Anti Bullying Petition. What is my goal? 100 signatures, I think I can make it there. Once I get 100 signatures I will send this post to every stardoll gossip blog out there saying we won't stand for this any longer. If you're going to post gossip you should not attempt to tear down a person in the process.


We need to stand up for this issues because eventually someone will push it too far and something tragic will happen. What if it was someone you love and care for that was getting bullied? What if it were you? Enough is enough. I'm not saying ban gossip blogs, i'm saying have a little more class and heart.

This is a bit of a random post but it's a growing trend I'm noticing so I'm going to talk about it.

Why is it so hard for us to be nice to each other? I'm obviously not a perfect person but it's a tad bit ridiculous to try and tear someone down behind an anonymous front, in fact it's ridiculous to try and tear someone down in anyway. I read quite a few blogs on stardoll and it seems like every other comment is an anonymous comment with something awful to say, it's not funny, hurtful and extremely immature.

My question for you all is why do you post anonymously? Why is it so easy to be mean anonymously?

Writer applications/raffle

Today I was reading some stardoll blogs as I usually do when my lectures finish up and I noticed this blog ended up on Memoires of a Medoll, to be completely honest I was absolutely thrilled!

This blog is officially launching and to make this work i'm going to need quite a few writers. There is a tab up now called "writer applications" and you can feel free to apply there. I need five or so writers that spend time on stardoll checking suites, paying attention to different members and just noticing things that I might miss because after all I am only one person. I do not want someone who is naturally a bit of a rude person to write for this blog, I am willing to give everyone a chance but this is a safe zone and absolutely nothing rude in manner will be tolerated by me so i'm making a three strikes you're out rule.


Hopefully i'll get a ton of canidates and when I get 100 followers I will raffle off 400 sd and some first season DKNY to celebrate.
